ALBERT EINSTEIN ON PALESTINE

Albert Einstein’s original letter dated April 10, 1948 to the ‘American Friends of the Fighters for the Freedom of Israel,’ a group based in New York. In Palestine, the group was called the Lehi or Stern gang at the time, a designated terrorist organization. In April 1948, Lehi and another militant terrorist group called Irgun carried out the Deir Yassin massacre in which at least 107 Palestinian Arab villagers, including women and children, were killed.
